➤ Product Description
Opal:
Opal symbolizes the rainbow, bringing a bright future to its owner. Its clear surface alludes to pure love, earning it the name "Cupid's Stone." Throughout history, opals have been cherished by Western royalty. Empress Josephine of France owned an opal necklace called "The Burning of Troy," and Queen Victoria of England gifted many opal jewels to her five daughters. In 1954, the Australian government presented a 205-carat Andamooka opal, set in a necklace, to Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. This necklace is known as "The Queen's Opal."
The ancient Roman naturalist Pliny described opals as follows: "In an opal, you will see the fire of the ruby, the purple of the amethyst, the green of the emerald – all sparkling together in an inimitable blend of colors."
