"The jade cicada chirps, and the green shadow shines. This hand-carved cicada in Taiwan's green jade has smooth lines, and the jade is warm and delicate. It is as green as pine and as calm as the night. The cicada's body is round and full, and the texture of its wings is delicate and clear. The shape is natural and agile, as if it is perched lightly, ready to chirp. Since ancient times, cicadas have symbolized nobleness and longevity. This jade cicada carries noble character and cultural charm. It is suitable for scholars to wear on their waists, or as a hand-held piece to appreciate carefully, and feel the warm touch of jade and the wonderful carving. This object is not only a work of art, but also a condensation of a period of time and craftsmanship."
