Lapis Lazuli Ring, crafted with pure copper wire. The inner diameter of the band is 1.8cm, equivalent to an international ring size 14. This piece is an extension of designs developed for new ring commissions. The main stone itself measures 20x15mm, a size typically used for pendants. The structural framework has been adjusted to accommodate different primary stones, so while the decorative style shares similarities with other recent ring creations, each piece subtly incorporates bespoke details. Lapis lazuli has always held a special place in my heart. Even before I began crafting jewelry, I purchased an oversized lapis lazuli silver ring, which I still wear today, some ten years later. While it may not possess the translucent clarity favored by many, its unique, profound color is utterly irreplaceable. We may not be able to bottle the azure of a clear sky, nor capture the cool blue within a flame, but I can refine this all-seeing ultramarine, allowing it to transcend and reside on your finger. Small flaws from drilling or polishing may also be present. ❖ The default packaging is simple, including protective cushioning and a shipping bag, along with a resealable bag for storage. 【Artistic Copper Wire Woven Jewelry】 ❖ Artistic copper wire is a specialized craft wire consisting of a copper core, plating, and a protective layer. With normal use and care, its color can remain largely unchanged for several years. ❖ Due to the plating and protective layer, please avoid using silver polishing cloths or toothpaste for cleaning, as this will rapidly wear away the plating. ❖ After wearing, gently wipe away any moisture (especially sweat) with a soft cloth and store in the provided resealable bag. ❖ Please avoid wearing during activities that cause heavy sweating, such as sports, and when visiting hot springs, as this can accelerate wear on the wire and potentially damage the natural stones. 【Unplated Copper Wire / Silver Wire Woven Jewelry / Sterling Silver Metalwork Jewelry】 ❖ Pure copper wire, brass wire, and silver wire are unplated materials. Natural oxidation is a normal phenomenon (they will gradually turn into an antique bronze or antique silver color). The color and rate of oxidation will vary with wear and individual body chemistry, adding to the unique character of these bare wire pieces. Personal experience suggests that pure copper wire oxidizes more quickly (potentially turning antique bronze within days to weeks), while brass and silver oxidize more slowly. ❖ Wire treated with a patina (antiquing) process generally maintains a more stable color tone compared to untreated wire, although polished areas will still naturally oxidize over time. ❖ If you wish to clean oxidized areas, you can typically use a silver polishing cloth or gently brush with toothpaste, then dry with a cloth or a cool hairdryer. ❖ After wearing, wipe away any moisture with a soft cloth and store in the provided resealable bag. ❖ Please avoid wearing during activities that cause heavy sweating, such as sports, and when visiting hot springs, as this can accelerate oxidation of the wire and potentially damage the natural stones. ❖ Unplated wire pieces can be sent back for re-polishing at any time (only return shipping fees will apply). 【Natural Stones】 ❖ Natural gemstones may inherently feature inclusions, patterns, mineral flaws, or dark spots.
