Taiwan is home to 27 species of the *Curetis* butterfly family, remnants from the ice age that inhabit only the misty forests of mid-to-high altitudes. When closed, their wings reveal simple shades of gray and brown, but when open, they shimmer with brilliant metallic hues of green, blue, and pearl, earning them the name "living jewels of the misty forests." The *Curetis santio* butterfly, also known as the West Wind Green Small Blue butterfly, exhibits distinct differences between males and females. This piece is inspired by the male butterfly, with its wings dusted with silver powder that glimmers with every movement. Elements are extracted from original hand-painted watercolor art, creating handcrafted pieces. Total length approximately 2.7cm.
