Workshop Description

Event Details Pomelo season is here! Do you remember wearing a fragrant Pomelo peel hat during Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations as a child? Citrus fruits like Pomelo are rich in essential oils. In Taiwan, different tree ages and varieties yield distinct aromas and flavors. For this experience, we've specially selected aged Pomelos from the renowned Matou region as our star ingredient. We'll guide you in understanding and choosing your preferred Pomelos, then transform them into seasonal Pomelo wine. In this workshop, you'll learn the process of brewing and simple cocktail mixing. Listen as the instructor shares insights into the industrial culture and history of Pomelos, along with interesting facts about this fruit. Together, we'll enjoy tasting Pomelo wine and Pomelo tea. To address the common situation of having leftover Pomelos after the festival, we've prepared five practical tips for utilizing Pomelos in daily life, in addition to making wine. These will help you make the most of your Pomelos. Wishing you a joyful Mid-Autumn Festival! Course Content - On-site tasting of Pomelo wine, Pomelo cocktails, and Pomelo tea - Introduction to the history of the Matou Pomelo industry in Taiwan, small-scale farmers, and cultivation environments - Learning the knowledge and techniques for brewing Pomelo wine, with hands-on experience in the creation process - Practical demonstration of five ingenious uses for Pomelo peels - Personalizing your bottle with a handwritten label and sealing it, completing a 1000ml bottle of Matou Pomelo wine . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ● Group Package: Groups of 6 or more can enjoy special discounts and flexible scheduling outside of the listed times.
