Though the ingredients are simple, the creation process is exceptionally intricate. Dough made from flour, natural butter, and water is chilled to mature for half a day, then completely enveloped in cultured butter. After each rolling and folding, the dough must be refrigerated until fully relaxed. This process of 6 triple folds results in our signature 730 layers of house-made puff pastry. Once meticulously shaped and dusted with tempting sugar crystals, they are baked at a high temperature of 250°C, allowing each butterfly crisp to achieve a perfect puff.
