[Author Biography] Dr. Lam Bun Lee Founder of Living Word Education Centre (www.livingword.edu.hk) A Hong Kong economist specializing in public utility regulation policy and business management. Graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a degree in Economics in 1984, and completed his Master's degree in Economics from HKU in 1988. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Bristol, UK in 1995. In 1989, he began teaching in the Department of Business Studies at the Hong Kong Polytechnic (now The Hong Kong Polytechnic University), serving until 2011 as an Associate Professor in the School of Accounting and Finance. He has served on various government advisory committees and research groups, including the Energy Advisory Committee, the Arts Development Advisory Council, and the Central Policy Unit's Transport Economics Research Group.
