**Beginner Sewing Fundamentals Class - July 2026** 🍀
The Weaving Room will gently guide you into the world of sewing.
Experience the sewing machine hands-on in our class, and you'll discover that machine sewing is not difficult at all~
We'll teach you how to create beautiful stitches and reinforce your sewing concepts with small projects!
**Class Session: 2026 / 7 / 24 (Fri) 13:00 ~ 16:00**
🔸 Fee: NT$900 **(Early bird price of NT$850 if registered before 5/31 (Sun))**
As the classroom requires setup and preparation before class, please arrive on time. There's no need to arrive too early~
🔸 Duration: 3 hours total
🔸 Class Size: Minimum 3 students to open, maximum 8 students.

Course Content:
🧵 Interested in sewing but unsure where to start? Let us introduce you to the fundamentals of sewing and how to get started!
The classroom is equipped with various sewing machines for you to use during the class, allowing you to gain a better understanding of sewing.
🧵 With so many fabric types, which ones are suitable for sewing?
We have a variety of fabrics available for you to explore. In this class, you will practice sewing with different fabric types.
🧵 In this course, we'll directly create an adorable **drawstring bag** to help you reinforce your sewing concepts through your creation.
You'll also learn essential concepts like why we leave an opening for turning and why we clip notches.
🧵 The course also covers hand sewing techniques and serger operation,
offering you multiple crafting skills all in one session.
🧵 If you own a sewing machine at home but struggle to even sew a straight line, bring your machine to class!
We'll guide you step-by-step in using your own sewing machine, helping you build a better relationship with it so you'll no longer be intimidated by sewing.
During the class, we'll practice correct thread threading and various stitch techniques,
including straight stitching, S-curves, right-angle turns, and circular stitches.
🧵 No need to bring anything to class; we have all the necessary supplies prepared. Just bring your enthusiasm!

• Using a Classroom Sewing Machine > We provide machines that are easy for beginners to handle, making learning more accessible and allowing you to focus on enjoying the sewing process.
• Bringing Your Own Sewing Machine > If you have a sewing machine at home but are new to using it, feel free to bring it to class!

**1. Cancellations or changes made 5 days or more before the event date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 5 days of the event date will receive a 50% refund of the course fee.**
**2. Cancellations made on the day before or the day of the event are non-refundable. In cases of unforeseen circumstances, please contact us.**
3. We recommend cancelling one day before the event date. You may transfer your spot to another participant. However, please inform us of the substitute participant's name and contact information.
4. In the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, we will proactively contact you to arrange a postponement or refund.
