Bing Sutt postcard set of 2

Wai Wai is delighted to illustrate B is for Bing Sutt (冰室). The illustration is also in the current issue of Tatler Hong Kong and it's available in the news-stands around Hong Kong. TAI ON CAFE ( 大安茶冰廳 ) is my first memory of a bing sutt which is closed to Gwo Laan (果欄, fruit market) and my old home in Yau Ma Tei. It is a classic cafe and over 50 years old. If you are curious about the energetic side of Yau Ma Tei, I would recommend you to have a walk in Gwo Laan before having breakfast at TAI ON around 7 am. For food, I would order Hong Kong Style French Toast or sandwiches; For drink, I prefer milk tea and iced coconut milk with red beans. It’s the unique taste of Hong Kong. If I leave here one day, I would miss bing sutt and cha chaan teng (茶餐廳) very much.
