Single Earring with Ancient Roman Gold Sand Beads and Silver

This is a single earring connecting ancient Roman gold sand beads and silver. The matte, golden beads are called "gold sandwich" beads, crafted during the Roman era. Gold leaf is encased between layers of clear glass. These beads have traveled from Southeast Asia. Gold sandwich beads often show cracks or chips on their surface, but these are in exceptionally good condition, free from any such imperfections! Only one bead is available! (Gold sandwich bead size: 0.7cm height, 1cm width) The plump beads are handcrafted silver beads, each made individually. The floral-shaped component and the connecting pin are also made of silver. The double helix ring and the small beads are Karen silver. The earring findings are silver. They bear the "925" stamp, indicating sterling silver.
