These pieces are created using a modern, simplified kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional kintsugi which uses natural urushi (tree sap lacquer), this method utilizes adhesive for the primary bonding, with urushi-based lacquer and gold powder for aesthetic and reinforcing purposes.
