When fishing or hunting, they use richly decorated canoes and perform elaborate ceremonies when they launch a new boat or begin the annual flying fish season.⁠⠀ 🎣 The flying fish season飛魚季 started from March to June every year when the Kuroshio current brings shoals of flying fish to the waters near Orchid Island.
