When not wearing, it is recommended to clean, dry thoroughly, and store in a zip-lock bag. Exposure to hot springs (sulfur springs) will cause silver to turn yellow or black. Other sulfur-containing substances will also discolor silver through vulcanization. It is not recommended to wear silver while showering, swimming, bathing in hot springs, or exercising. Silver is a soft metal; please do not pull silver chains forcefully. Avoid rubbing back and forth with a silver polishing cloth. **14K Gold Filled (also known as 14K GF)**: This refers to 1/20 14K gold content from the USA, abbreviated as 14K Gold Filled (14KGF). 1/20 signifies that the 14K gold constitutes 5% of the total weight. GF products are manufactured under high temperature and pressure, with the outer layer bonded to the entire base alloy core. The thickness and adhesion are incomparable to electroplating. The outer layer of K gold is hard and highly resistant to wear, and it will not peel off. However, due to individual wearing habits and other factors, the outer 14K gold may wear down or change color. Similar to sterling silver jewelry, 14KGF can also oxidize and discolor. It is recommended to remove jewelry when swimming, exercising, or bathing in hot springs. After wearing, it is recommended to lather some body wash in your palm with water, gently rub the chain, rinse thoroughly with clean water, dry, and allow it to air dry completely before storing in a zip-lock bag.
