The celadon green is elegant and subtle, with shades as varied as clouds and mist, glowing like jade. It is said that the poet-emperor Song Huizong described this green as: "Like the sky after rain, breaking through the clouds, create such a color." ................... For over 30 years, Fuchang Kiln has quietly focused on firing celadon and monochrome glazes. The presented celadon glaze is warm like jade, clear like ice crystals, and smooth and delicate like solidified fat. It exudes a understated luster that is neither ostentatious nor flamboyant, but rather refined and approachable. Paired with classic shapes, ergonomic wooden handles, and point glazing techniques, we hope to integrate the elegant celadon aesthetics, rich with scholarly sentiment, into everyday vessels. ................... | About Each Piece | All pottery from Fuchang Kiln is handmade, so details may vary slightly from piece to piece. During the firing process, unpredictable elements like ash deposits or iron spots may form unique patterns, which become the exclusive mark of each piece. If you have specific requirements for details, please let us know. We will provide photos for your confirmation before shipping. ................. | About Fuchang Kiln's Crazing Patterns | We pursue simplicity, so we intentionally create single-layer crazing patterns. Visually, after maturation, these will resemble the crackled pattern on a tea-boiled eggshell. These patterns form as the glaze cools after firing and will continue to change, not fixed. Before maturation, you can use your phone's flashlight to see the general pattern. These cracks do not affect functionality. As you use the piece, colors will seep into the cracks: black is iron wire crackle, ochre is 鳝血纹 (reddish-brown crackle), and tea-colored is gold wire crackle. The varied appearance gives each piece a vibrant life. ................. | Precautions | - Fuchang Kiln pottery is fired at high temperatures of 1240°C and can be safely cleaned with a scrubber or in a dishwasher. (Excludes products with wooden handles; wood must be kept dry) - Single-material ceramic pieces can be heated in an oven or electric cooker. - Pottery is fragile. We carefully package items before shipping. If damage occurs during transit, please notify us within 3 days of receipt for further processing. - Colors in photos may differ slightly from the actual product due to lighting, angles, and display settings.
