My name is Dmitry Vyazmin. I am 37 years old. I've been a freelance artist for 7 years now. Until the age of 30, my life was never associated with creativity. I graduated as a Computer Systems Engineer at university. My job was related to the repair of computers and other equipment. After that, I was in charge of a branch of a large company. Having worked for many years in one place on one day, I decided to change everything. I just picked up brushes and paints and started painting. I had no knowledge of color, shape, or composition. I just followed my intuition, my inner vision. I was inspired by the works of artists of the past and my contemporaries. I looked at their pictures and tried to understand and see through their eyes. I felt the dried paint on the canvas. I devoted all my time to this. 24 hours a day I either painted or looked at pictures of other artists, sometimes I could not sleep for several days. When I went to bed and closed my eyes, a multi-colored mosaic of brush strokes appeared in front of my eyes. When I was drawing, I felt how my body begins to vibrate, and respond to every movement. I can still feel it. I call this creative flow. Ideas come to me from everywhere. I paint every day. Sometimes I have absolutely no idea what I will draw, and sometimes I see, as in inspiration, what should be in my picture. I believe that inspiration does not need to wait because it comes from the one who is ready. And I try to be prepared every day. I am happy that I can do what I love, in which I see my purpose. For the first few years, my whole life was devoted to painting. Now I have learned to use creativity in everything I do. I spend a lot of time outdoors in my garden, which I myself have grown. I love to watch the flowers bloom and the little bees circle around. Yes, now I live a more secluded life than before, but it seems to me that in return I have gained something more. In each of my works, I put all my love for painting and the world, that's why many people say that my paintings emit light. As an engineer, I cannot prove it, but as an artist, I know that it is.
