A dress made from yukata fabric, perfect for the hot summer.
Children in yukatas at summer festivals are undeniably charming!
However, they can be difficult to wear for everyday occasions.
That's why we created this dress from yukata fabric, designed for everyday wear.
Yukata fabric becomes more absorbent and comfortable with each wash, so wear this dress often this summer and don't hesitate to launder it.
Available in different patterns and colors, please feel free to enjoy the beauty of Japanese dyeing.
■ About the Fabric
Fabric Used: New Yukata Bolt
Material: 77% Cotton, 23% Linen. It has a slightly crisp texture.
Transparency: Slightly translucent
Dyeing Method: Chusen Honzome (Nasubikawa Dyeing)
Note: As is characteristic of the fabric, there may be occasional slubs (knots in the yarn). We appreciate your understanding.
■ About Chusen Dyeing
Chusen is a dyeing technique where colors are poured using a tool similar to a watering can. The more colors used, the more work is required by the artisan.
Therefore, we believe children's yukata fabric is the most luxurious.
This bolt has been dyed through countless hours of repetitive handwork.
The subtle color gradients and variations are unique to the artisan's touch, and the resulting hues are utterly captivating.
This is honzome dyeing, where the color penetrates deeply to the reverse side.
While it inevitably means we cannot offer these at an everyday price, we aspire to share this exquisite craftsmanship, however humbly.

■ About Washing
・ For the first few washes, there may be some color transfer, similar to denim. We recommend hand washing separately.
・ Once the color stabilizes, you can wash it in a machine with a laundry net as usual.
・ Do not leave the garment wet, as this can cause color bleeding. Lightly spin, then hang to dry immediately.
■ Important Information

・ As the size increases, the gathering on the skirt will be reduced.
