In the shade of the Marabutan, the postman looked relaxed, momentarily free from the hectic routine of the day. The leaves of the Marabutan wave lightly in the breeze. That is the picture that comes to me, when I think of how plants can bring happiness to people, even in a seemly ordinary day. Every month, there is at least one beautiful plants in bloom in Taiwan, and this is the beginner's guide. In February, the Madagascar Almond shows its lively sprouts. In March, the Golden Trumpet Tree dangles numerous golden fluffy flowers. In April, the cotton tree flowers are in bloom, their silhouettes resemble heart shapes. In May, the Taiwan Lilies line the east-northern coast of Taiwan. In June, it is perfect time to visit the Gao's Hydrangea Flower Field. In July, the sunflowers wave in the Sun & Green Field in Taoyuan. In August, orange daylilies embellish the hills in Taitung. In September, leek flowers strew the fields like new snow. In October, silvergrass are around so many corners. In November, Chrysanthemum are in full bloom. In December, people flock to the mountains to see maple leaves turn red. In January, canola scatters the fields. Every drip coffee bag features a monthly flower. On the back of the coffee bag, some info are provided for a easy flower viewing trip: the recommended flower viewing sites, estimated bloom time, and the plant's origin. Texts are in Traditional Chinese and in English. Many common plants in Taiwan are, surprisingly, not native to Taiwan. For instance, the Madagascar Almond, the feature plant of February, as its name shows, is native to Madagascar. And the Golden Trumpet Tree is native to Brazil. Therefore, we are also planning on a new series about the native plants in Taiwan. ------------------------------------------------------------ The coffee drip bags are prepared carefully by the Tzemdas Kaffa in Changhua. This collection include three flavors of coffee beans：Italian blend Blackriver, Salvatore, Yirgacheffe. Two coffee drip bags for each flavor. Twelve coffee drip bags in total. Personal tasting: - Italian blend Blackriver: pleasantly bitter. goes well with soymilk. - Salvatore：mildly bitter. goes well solo. - Yirgacheffe: chocolate and nut fragrance. no sour flavor. p.s. If there is not enough coffee in stock when we receive your order, we will contact you within 1 working day, to check whether you would like to choose another coffee flavor or cancel your order.
