The teacher will take everyone back to the port era of Dadaocheng to learn how spices entered Taiwan with merchant ships and became part of the local food culture. At the same time, we will also talk about the origin of mulled wine, a traditional winter drink, and its important role in European and American tables and Christmas.
In the class, we will introduce the art of mixing spices commonly used in mulled wine, learn to understand their taste levels, functions and appropriate mixing ratios, and try cooking and drinking them on site. From shallow to deep, you can create your own fragrance formula.
You will take home 3 packages of hand-mixed mulled wine. You can recreate this heart-warming drink at any time when you go home and share the festive atmosphere with your family and friends.
