The silk cord appears delicate on its own, so it's crafted by braiding five strands together, giving it a substantial feel and excellent durability. Photos 2 & 3 show the pendant with a shortened cord (the excess cord can be brought to the front for a cute look). Photo 4 shows the pendant with an extended cord.
