2000 Awarded an Honorable Mention in the Craftsmanship category at the 14th Nanying Art Exhibition for his work "Seizing the Moment"
August Participated in a jade exhibition at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall
2001 Invited to the Hualien International Art Festival, featured in the local creation area for live carving demonstrations
2002 Awarded an Honorable Mention at the 10th Taiwan Craft Design Competition for his work "Dream of Craftsmanship"
January Participated in a jade exhibition at the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau
May Participated in the "Flowers and Trees Carnival" in Changhua County, exhibiting alongside Luo Xi stone inkstones and jade pieces

2012 Received an Honorable Mention in the Traditional Craftsmanship category at the Ministry of Culture and National Taiwan Craft Research Institute's Research and Development Center—"Taiwan Craft Competition" for his work "Half Thought." Received an Honorable Mention in the Craftsmanship category at the 21st Tainan City "Nanying Award" for his work "Quiet Mountain Water."
2013 Invited to exhibit in the "Gathering of Jade Carving Masters from Both Sides of the Strait" at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, showcased in the Taiwanese Jade Master area.
2016 Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center to exhibit at the Presidential Office Art Gallery as part of the "Hearth Gathering—Sustainable Craft Exhibition." Three works were displayed: "Japanese-Style Nigiri Sushi," "Handmade Mini Mochi," and "Leaping Moment."
2017 His work "Lingering Lotus Spring Intent" received an Honorable Mention at the Taoyuan City Taoyuan Beauty Exhibition.
2018 Held a solo exhibition, "Xie Zhong-ren Jade Carving 30 Years: The Continuation of Culture," at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.
2019 January-June Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center to exhibit his work "Auspicious Dragon Presenting Auspiciousness" at the Presidential Office Art Gallery's "Feast · Happiness" exhibition.
2020 Participated in the "Hearty Joy, Artistic Brilliance - Taiwan Craft Development Association Boutique Exhibition," held jointly at the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau (July 29 - August 16, 2020) and the Taipei Contemporary Craft Design Branch of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center (October 6, 2020 - February 28, 2021).
2021 October-November Exhibited his work "Japanese-Style Nigiri Sushi" at the "Creative Regeneration Green Crafts" exhibition organized by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center.
His work "Handmade Mini Mochi" was selected for the 2021 Taiwan Craft Competition and toured at the Taipei Contemporary Craft Design Branch of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center, as well as Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi Store, Tainan Ximen Store, and Taichung Store.
