Dry heating may cause the lid components to overheat and get damaged. It is recommended to use the lid for reheating liquids or soupy dishes. The MakEat Universal Lid does not have any metal clasps and can be microwaved! It is recommended to reheat food in short intervals using medium-low heat for 2 minutes (700-900W), avoiding prolonged heating to prevent damage to the lid components due to excessive continuous heat.
