Crafted from a unique blend of clay that offers a rustic and earthy texture.
Shaped into a donburi bowl perfect for the cooler months, it's coated in a serene light blue glaze, with a touch of white glaze accentuating the finger rests.
The result is a piece that balances traditional Japanese elegance with a touch of modern, playful cuteness.
This donburi bowl features a slightly shallow and wide form.
Its size is ideal for those who enjoy dipping ingredients into sauces like ponzu or sesame dressing, savoring each bite.
Beyond hot pots, it's also perfect for dishes with delicious broths such as agedashi tofu or Jibuni, or even for serving creamy potage soups.
Embracing its Japanese charm, it can also be used to serve traditional sweets like warabi mochi or shiratama dango.
We hope you'll enjoy it with a variety of dishes.
All stages of production, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are meticulously done by hand in my studio, equipped with a small electric kiln and a potter's wheel.
While mass production isn't possible, each piece possesses its own unique character, offering a distinct charm that comes from being handmade.
The item you receive will be the same as pictured.
To ensure minimal scratching on your table, the base of the bowl has been smoothed with sandpaper.
I explore various combinations of glazes and clays, constantly seeking the best pairings, and create a diverse range of ceramics in different colors and shapes.
Each piece is unique, seemingly similar yet truly one-of-a-kind, as exact replication is impossible.
It would bring me great joy if you find a piece that speaks to you.
I hope you'll find delight in the cozy atmosphere woven by the clay and glazes, adding a touch of color to your everyday life.

*Notes on Purchase and Use*
- Due to the porous nature of ceramic, it may absorb liquids, potentially leading to glaze crazing discoloration or moisture seepage.
To prevent this, all our tableware undergoes a waterproofing treatment with a food-safe sealant before shipping, eliminating the need for initial soaking.
This treatment requires 2-3 days, hence our shipping window of 5 days from order placement.
If you prefer not to have the waterproofing treatment, please inform us at the time of purchase.
- Cutlery shown in product images is not included.
- Product images are edited and photographed to be as true to the actual product as possible. However, colors may appear differently depending on your monitor settings and lighting conditions. Please be aware of this in advance.
- As this item is also sold on other platforms, in the event of overlapping purchases, priority will be given to the customer who completes the purchase process first. We appreciate your understanding.
- While microwave (for reheating) and dishwasher use is possible, please note that vibrations from microwaves and high-pressure hot water jets may accelerate wear and tear. We recommend limiting their use.
- Please refrain from using this item in an oven or over direct heat.
- After use, to prevent stains and mold, please wash thoroughly, ensure it is completely dry, and then store it in your cupboard or other storage.
