Designed by Hung Jung-Hsi, the eye mask “I'm Weary – Put Me On & Be the Emperor”won the Silver Prize in the Category of Home Décor Design at the 8th National Palace Museum National Treasure Merchandise Design Competition held in 2019.
Inspired by one of the National Palace Museum's collections, “Bust Portraits of Ming Dynasty Emperors and Empresses (I), Chenghua Emperor”. The designer prints the eye part of the portrait on the eye mask with a tag, “I'm weary”, demonstrating a royal sense of humor and empowering you to fall asleep serenely and solemnly, such a sacred and inviolable experience as the saying goes: Wake NOT a sleeping lion!
