"A moment in the light" is a unique, limited edition 1/1 cyanotype print, framed at 7 x 9.5 inches (17.5 x 24 cm). Picture inside size: 4*6.5 inches. This handmade piece captures a chair bathed in light, symbolizing the present moment and the endless rhythm of life or opportunity. Its deep blue hues create a sense of calm and introspection, inviting you to reflect on your own journey.
"You'll receive this beautiful print already framed, ready to hang or display."
Crafted using advanced layering techniques, this cyanotype showcases the rich potential of this historic photographic process. Cyanotype, invented by English scientist John Frederick William Herschel in 1842, gained prominence through the pioneering work of Anna Atkins. Between 1843–61, she used this technique to illustrate botanical books, making her one of the first to publish a book with photographic images, and possibly the first woman to create a photograph.
Please note: The images you see are taken with a DSLR camera in natural light. Colors may vary slightly depending on your device. A video is available to help you visualize the piece.
