Hemp twine knitted summer bag (with sky blue bird brooch)

This summer bag features a crocheted hemp twine body adorned with a sky-blue bird brooch made of wool felt. I created this medium-sized bag for summer outings, summer fashion, and for those who don't want to carry too much. The inner lining is a blue apple pattern fabric. (The lining has a thick interfacing inside.) The felt brooch is made from merino wool that has been felted by hand using hot water and dish soap. The brooch pin is removable. You can remove the pin and attach an elastic band or other accessory to customize it, or of course, it looks cute as a brooch on summer clothes. It can hold essentials for going out: a wallet (a long wallet will stick out), a pouch, a handkerchief, and a smartphone (the image shows an iPhone 11). A water bottle will fit, but it will stick out. While some people find handles made of hemp twine fuzzy and uncomfortable to hold, this bag has a leather handle, making it comfortable even with sleeveless clothing.
