As they grow older, the need for the outer layer to be heat-resistant diminishes, making these hollowed bowls somewhat regrettable to set aside. Must the heat-resistant outer layer always have holes? Can it not be used on its own? This led the Moek team to discover Essten, an eco-friendly and durable material with a heat resistance range of -40°C to 140°C.
