CAMINO de SANTIAGO Board Game | Premium Lotería for Travel & Culture Lovers - Board Games & Toys - Paper Multicolor

Product Description

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54905255594_9ee97f1540_b.jpg **CAMINO de SANTIAGO Board Game** is inspired by the famous pilgrimage walk in Spain. In 2025, after recovering from a serious illness, Annie decided it was time to do what she and her mother had always wanted to do together: walk the Camino. Annie took photos and made sketches as a way to remember the experience. Many of her original drawings are illustrations for the game. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54904002517_8679e5bece_c.jpg **About the Camino de Santiago** "The Camino" is a renowned UNESCO World Heritage network of pilgrimage routes that lead to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, where the remains of Saint James are believed to be buried. Though traditionally a Catholic pilgrimage, the walk has become popular with people of all backgrounds. To earn the official “Compostela” certificate, pilgrims must walk at least 100km (or cycle 200km) and collect stamps in their pilgrim credentials at various locations. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54905161043_253dcb9ff0_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54893978789_6105213c55_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54905255038_17a97eb764_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54905184244_b5804bd93f_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54893973255_419da52ded_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54905161108_d4f210263e_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54893869346_911557f20e_c.jpg **HOW TO PLAY** **Basic**: Based on the traditional Mexican Lotería, this beautifully illustrated game introduces the Camino's landmarks, traditions and symbols. One player draws and announces cards. Each player marks matching images on a 'tabla' using the tokens. The first to complete a pattern yells **"¡CAMINO!"** to win! Before each game, players may also agree on the pattern to play: simple (4 tokens), complex pattern (8 tokens), or the entire board. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54894060885_67e89319e5_c.jpg **Advanced**: The caller describes each card with a story or a joke, instead of naming it. Players guess the image and mark their 'tablas' accordingly. When someone completes a pattern, they shout **"¡CAMINO!"**. The caller then reveals the cards to verify that all matches are correct. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54904601882_87bfa17aa1_c.jpg **Prizes**: For extra fun, prepare small prizes for the winners of each round! **WARNING**: contains small parts, not suitable for children under 3 years old. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54904076652_3b2cba1cf2_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54905594900_19b6c74a41_c.jpg ~ ~ ~ **Product** **Camino de Santiago Loteria Game** Creator: Annie Ivanova Languages: Spanish/English/Chinese (Traditional) Publisher: Gooroo Press (Australia) ISBN: 9-781764-05862-9 Boxset: 54 cards (9 x 14 cm) 12 tablas (14.5 x 20 cm) 100 tokens (2.5 cm) 1 guide Compact and durable box https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54907330339_12a08b9f1e_m.jpg ~ ~ ~ **Research Through Experience** Illustrations feature: pilgrimage Iconography, Spanish gastronomy, local landscapes and Sacred Architecture Typography and styling based on street signs in Madrid's old quarters and traditional ceramic tiles.
