Bear's Coffee Journey - Japan Kissaten Series
A small shop nestled in a back alley in Tokyo's Jimbocho district, this cafe, seemingly converted from a traditional Japanese house, boasts a facade of black and wrought iron that is both stylish and inviting.
We savored the sunshine by the window while enjoying a pudding and coffee set. The pudding was topped with incredibly fine, smooth whipped cream, and the pudding itself was exquisitely dense—so delicious we wanted to drink every last drop of the caramel sauce!
It struck me as rather whimsical to be having pudding for breakfast. Looking around, I noticed a dapperly dressed salaryman also enjoying pudding!
Perhaps he, like us, had rushed over early to ensure he wouldn't miss out on the limited-quantity pudding (laughs). The scene before me felt delightfully contradictory, and I couldn't help but think this pudding must surely provide him with the energy he needed for a productive workday.
