[Author's Biography] Mr. Leung Fai Kuen graduated from the Department of Social Work at the Hong Kong Polytechnic with a Diploma in Social Work in his early years. He later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports and Recreation Management, jointly offered by the University of Hong Kong and Victoria University of Technology, Australia. Subsequently, he obtained a Master of Social Sciences (Counselling) degree, jointly offered by Hong Kong Baptist University and the University of South Australia. Finally, he graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, T.K.S.S., and was awarded a Master of Christian Studies. In terms of coaching qualifications, Mr. Leung Fai Kuen is a Level 2 Mountaineering Instructor certified by the Hong Kong Mountaineering and Climbing Union, a Level 3 Low Structure Coach, Level 3 High Structure Coach, and Level 3 Recreational Abseiling Coach certified by the Hong Kong Association of Challenge Ropes Course. He also holds a Canyon Leader certificate and a Canyon Rescue Technician certificate from the American Canyon Academy. Mr. Leung Fai Kuen is a founding member of the Hong Kong Association of Adventure Based Counselling and the Hong Kong Association of Challenge Ropes Course. He served as a Research and Publication Committee member for the Hong Kong Association of Adventure Based Counselling (1996-2005), was the Chairperson of the Training and Technical Committee for the Hong Kong Association of Challenge Ropes Course (2002-2006), and served as the Chairperson of the Assessment Committee (2006-2008).
