This is a "Daruma" from our Single Line Series.
(Long Sleeve T-Shirt)
body : cotton 100%
code : acrylic
Daruma is a lucky charm modeled after Bodhidharma, an Indian monk who introduced Zen Buddhism to Japan from China.
Due to its ability to quickly get up after falling down, it is considered a symbol of the spirit of "fall seven times, rise eight times." It is widely worshipped as a symbol of good fortune, prosperity in business, and the fulfillment of great desires. It is customary to paint one eye on a Daruma doll when making a wish, and then paint the other eye once the wish is granted.
This "Daruma" has been dynamically created with a single stroke of the brush.
Each Daruma doll is individually crafted by laying out the strings, so no two are alike.
The expression, balance, and pattern are all unique.
The Daruma is machine-sewn after the strings are laid out, making it machine-washable.
Single Line Series:
This series features motifs painted with a single stroke of the brush using single- to multi-colored strings.
There are currently around 30 different motifs available, and they are available on T-shirts (short-sleeved and long-sleeved) and sweatshirts.
