TAPANI: 3952 Old Goat - named after the ancient place name Yujing in Tainan, Taiwan, a high-quality basic writing pen. The pen body is made of carefully selected rosewood, and is equipped with a flame-patterned airtight cap, gray-chrome electroplating treatment and accessories, and an elastic pen clip design with the 3952 brand LOGO engraved on the pen clip.
The nib uses a German BOCK #180 (#5) small Rose Gold nib, which is manually ground and adjusted into a calligraphy nib by an old BOCK craftsman. It has an added bonus when writing Chinese characters. It is smooth, easy to write, and easy to produce a unique brush-like charm.
**Product combination gift: German SCHMIDT K2 ink absorber (without ink) + 3952 Old Goat textured pencil case packaging**
Size: Pen barrel diameter 12mm, capped length: 144mm, pen barrel including nib 125mm, pen cap diameter 12mm, length 58mm, total weight approximately 35 grams, total length 144mm.
Hand-tuned calligraphy nib:
1. When writing calligraphy tips, it is generally recommended to dip them in ink first, let them cool for a while, and then use an ink absorber.
2. If the ink runs out when using an ink absorber, look at the angle at which you hold the tip. The left and right dots should fall on the paper at the same time. Do not write to one side. If the ink runs out again, check to see if there is any paper fiber stuck on the tip of the pen.
3. Remove the ink absorber and try to apply ink at the center.
4. Wash the pen tip first. If the iridium point is tilted to one side when writing, and if you press the tip hard, it will easily cause the iridium point to be misaligned, that is, there will be a height difference between the left and right sides, which will scratch the paper and accumulate paper scraps in the tip gap.
5. The calligraphy tip is adjusted from the EF tip to a curved tip. The thickness of the writing is determined not by pressing the tip but by the angle of holding the pen, using the curvature of the front end of the pen tip to determine the thickness. Hold the pen straighter so that the area where the pen tip touches the paper is smaller and the lines you write will be thinner. The more you hold the pen at an angle, the larger the contact area between the pen tip and the paper, and the thicker the line you write. Whether you can write thick or thin depends on your proficiency and skill.
In order to protect the environment, we will not provide paper bags. If you need to give gifts, please let us know in the remarks after placing the order. Thank you.
The pictures are for reference only. The product is a single piece. Some photos have slight color differences due to lighting angles. The actual product will prevail.
Note: Wipe and maintain the pen body and the inside of the pen cap frequently. Do not leave the pen tip facing downward for a long time.
Warm reminder: When writing, do not press the tip of the pen or write to the left or right (for right-handed people, it is recommended that the tip of the pen should point to around 10 or 11 o'clock when writing) to avoid accidentally misaligning the iridium point and causing paper scratching and ink breaking. The pen tip should be rinsed with clean water frequently to avoid ink jam and affect the writing quality.
Enjoy the fun of writing yourself and share it with your relatives and friends. It is a good choice for affordable and high-end gifts!
