About the Creator: Li Jin-Lun, an illustrator and principal of the No-Tail Banana Animal School, has been giving animals a voice through her art for two decades. Many grew up reading her creations, like "Zi Er, Tu Tu." Her works, including "Animal Hospital No. 39," "A Gentle, Kind, and Rich Lady and Her One Hundred Dogs," "Speaking Ill of Cats," "Calling My Cat," and the 2023 release "A Dog's Will," resonate deeply with all who love animals. From picture books and newspaper columns to school visits and the design of cultural and creative products, she uses the power of creation to teach more children to love animals. Through this, she realized that the most fundamental way to improve the plight of stray animals lies with "people." Thus, the No-Tail Banana Animal School was born! About the No-Tail Banana Animal School: Located at Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung, the No-Tail Banana Animal School is Taiwan's first hub dedicated to fostering a love for animals, combining creative expression with animal knowledge promotion. It aims to accompany both humans and animals in their learning journey. Through storytelling and the philosophy of "understand first, then adopt," it hopes to foster a lifelong companionship and prevent abandonment. Since its launch in March 2022, it has received the Golden Pin Design Award for Social Design in 2022, the Annual Social Concern and Eco-Friendly Award in 2022, and the German Service Design Award in the Education & Learning category in 2023.
