The modernization of Taiwan was catalyzed by the completion of the Sun Moon Lake hydropower system. This infrastructure provided a stable power supply that illuminated cities and facilitated the spread of culture through writing, printing, and broadcasting across the island. Our product repurposes unique components from the Sun Moon Lake pump storage power station, specifically the "brass sealing strips," transforming them into stationery and accessories. The retired brass strips, marked by distinctive water erosion, are carefully fashioned into pen holders with unique textures. Ballpoint pans are crafted through melting and casting, featuring Taiwan Power Company's exclusive power coordinates to highlight their recycled origin. Additionally, remaining materials are melted down and recast into spinning tops, miniaturizing the generator's rotors and providing warm companions for daily writing and creative inspiration.
