Collection description Huang Gongwang (1269-1354 AD) was born in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. His courtesy name is Zijiu, his nickname is Da Chi, and he is also known as Yifeng Taoist. He studied under Dong Yuan (early 10th century) and Ju Ran (10th century) and became his own school. Zijiu was fond of Huang Lao's studies and was a Quanzhen Taoist priest.
