Hand-stitched Squirrel Bag Charm

With chubby cheeks puffed out, this little squirrel looks as if it’s hiding something precious inside. Its round expression brings a touch of warmth and charm. Real squirrels have “cheek pouches” where they secretly store nuts. I expressed this tiny habit with fabric and thread, carefully hand-stitched one by one. The facial features are felt, while the base uses lightweight wool twill to suggest the squirrel’s soft fur. Inside, layers of quilting cotton and board give the charm both fullness and durability, while keeping it lighter than it looks.
