Inspired by JH Dearle's The Brook Tapestry and the Grail Tapestry, "The Brook" was created by Morris & Co. designer Alison Gee. Morris is fascinated by medievalism, using tapestries as the highest form of all decorative arts. By commissioning the wall, Morris produces a number of churches and legendary tapestries for private homes. Today, digital printing reproduces all the fragility and richness of Alison's beautiful artwork, seeking to capture the character of medieval tapestry. It is printed on two spacious, spacious (140 cm wide) wallpapers, sold by meters. Two fabric qualities are also printed on velvet and linen/viscose in the Archive III print series.
