●Please read the following registration notes carefully before signing up. By registering, you confirm that you have read and agree to all the terms and conditions and class regulations outlined by our company. ●Dihua Half-Day Pottery Studio reserves the right to modify course details. ●Placing an order does not guarantee class confirmation. Registration is successful only upon receiving our notification. Registration Process 1. Order / Registration *Limited spots available. All classes are by reservation only. Please place your order on Pinkoi to reserve your spot (reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance). *Within 3 days of your order, our coordinator will contact you to confirm your reservation details. If you do not receive a response, please notify the coordinator via email. Please check your Pinkoi inbox messages or call us at (02) 2552-8081. 2. Class Confirmation 〇 The coordinator will notify you 3 days prior to the class date to confirm if the class will proceed. ✖ If the session is full or the class is not offered, alternative class times will be communicated. 3. Attending the Class *Entry will be allowed 5 minutes before the class begins. Please check in on the 1st floor. *To ensure the smooth running of the class, please do not be late. Late arrivals exceeding 30 minutes will not be admitted and will not be eligible for a refund or make-up class. *For ease of handling, please trim your fingernails before the class to prevent clay from getting stuck. *Students with long hair are advised to tie their hair back before the class for convenience during the session. *To protect the rights of paying participants and maintain class quality, all attendees must be registered for the course. Companions not participating in the experience are not permitted. *Please help maintain the classroom environment and equipment. Any damage caused will be charged at the cost of repair or replacement. *During the class, the organizers may take photos or videos as needed, which may be uploaded to social media or our official website in the future. Photos and videos containing your likeness may be used by the organizers for event records or other promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform a staff member at the event, and we will make special arrangements. 4. Firing Process *【Process handled by the instructor after class】: Correction → Drying → Bisque Firing → Glazing → Glaze Firing → Final Inspection. The entire process takes approximately 4-6 weeks. *Clay and glaze are natural materials. Variations in glaze colors and shapes due to high temperatures, as well as the presence of pores, running glaze, bumps, or fine cracks, are normal occurrences. We appreciate your understanding. 5. Pick-up of Finished Pieces 1 Postal Delivery: *The shipping fee for a single piece is NT$180. For additional pieces sent to the same address, there will be an extra charge of NT$80 per piece. Shipping fees are payable in cash on the day of the class. We ensure that all items are inspected and carefully packaged before dispatch (using some recycled packaging materials to contribute to environmental efforts). However, we are not responsible for any damage or loss incurred during transit due to multiple transfers or unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. **※Shipping fees for outlying islands and international destinations are calculated separately and are payable upon delivery or in advance on the day of the class.** 2 In-Person Pick-up: *Due to limited space, please pick up your finished piece from the studio within 2 months of being notified. After this period, we will not send individual reminders and will clear unclaimed pieces from the shelves. *We are not responsible for the safekeeping of your piece after notification of completion and before you pick it up (e.g., breakage due to earthquakes). Please retrieve your work as soon as possible. ●Rescheduling/Refund Policy *In the event of natural disasters or other force majeure circumstances, we will proactively contact you to arrange for rescheduling or a refund. *In case of a typhoon, the class schedule and refund policy will be based on the work suspension announcements for both Taipei City (our location) and your area. *If you wish to cancel your class, please call or email the coordinator in advance to allow us to arrange seating. Cancellations made within 5 working days before the class date (including the class date itself) are not eligible for a full refund. A 70% refund will be issued, with the remaining 30% covering administrative processing fees.
