All stages of production, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are meticulously done by hand in my home studio, which is equipped with a small electric kiln and a potter's wheel. The plump, rounded silhouette, the textured finish, and the slight weight in hand all contribute to its authentic ceramic character. While mass production is not possible, each piece possesses its own unique expression, offering the distinct charm that comes from being handmade. The item you receive will be identical to those shown in the product images. There are currently three pieces available. As each cup has subtle variations in size and form, photographs of all three are included at the end of the product images. While stock lasts, you are welcome to select your preferred piece. Please indicate your preference at the time of purchase. To ensure your table surfaces are protected, the base of each cup will be carefully sanded before shipping. I continuously explore new combinations of clays and glazes, creating a diverse range of ceramics in various colors and shapes. To address this, all our items undergo a waterproofing treatment with a food-safe sealant before shipping, eliminating the need for initial curing (mezoma). This treatment requires 2-3 days, hence our shipping timeframe of 5 days from order placement.
