Fine-grained white clay with a rustic charm. Molded into a deep, round bowl shape, it is finished with a glossy white glaze and decorated with patterns in various blue and green glazes. The firing process allowed the glazes to blend, resulting in a delicate and ethereal color display. This is a piece with depth, offering a different visual experience depending on the viewing angle. Its size makes it versatile, usable as both a serving bowl and a rice bowl. The rim curves outward, creating a subtle lip that makes it easy to grip and carry. All stages of production—from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing—are meticulously done by hand in my home studio, equipped with a small electric kiln and a potter's wheel. While mass production is not possible, each piece possesses its own unique character, offering the charm that comes from handmade craftsmanship.
