Handwoven, Wool, Long Stole, Spring Riverbank

This is a long merino wool stole, handwoven using the "Saori weaving" technique, inspired by the misty riverbanks of spring. It features color transitions reminiscent of gentle river currents, interspersed with the hues of early spring blossoms. The lower portion displays a slightly more defined shade of light blue, while the rest of the stole is woven with a soft, misty color palette. Dimensions: Approximately 40cm in width × 200cm in length (including ~1cm side fringe and ~6cm tassels). Weight: 190g. The stole has been thoroughly washed after weaving (fulled), so there may be slight variations in width. It has a wonderfully soft texture. Uses pre-dyed wool yarn. ________________________ Origin / Production Method Japan / Handmade ◎ Gentle handwashing at home is recommended. ◎ Please avoid using washing machines, dryers, or bleach. ◎ Avoid hot water and vigorous rubbing. Dissolve a neutral detergent (such as Acron or Emal, fine fabric detergent) thoroughly in water or lukewarm water (0-30°C). Gently swish or press the fabric in the water. Rinse twice gently, then press out excess water with a towel. Reshape and dry flat in the shade (total process takes about 2-3 minutes). After removing excess water, a light ironing before drying will result in a neat finish. ◎ Iron on a medium setting with a pressing cloth. ◎ For long-term storage, keeping it with desiccants and moth repellents will provide peace of mind. ◎ A simple care instruction manual, in either Japanese or English, will be included with your purchase.
