The mouth rim is highlighted with gilt. The entire outer surface is adorned with smooth rouge-red enamel, intricately decorated with famille rose scrolling lotus branches and floral patterns. The base is covered in celadon glaze, and the blue enamel inscription in seal script reads "Made in the Qianlong Reign of the Great Qing Dynasty" in three lines. The overall shape of this meiping vase is well-rounded, and the floral decorations on top employ traditional Chinese painting techniques, including shading and freehand brushwork.
