❘-Product Introduction- ❘
AC100 is one of the most representative products in a series of Jesmonite brand products. It is a composite water-based mineral resin mixed with minerals such as quartz and marble fine chips. The mineral resin can skillfully present the texture of stone or ceramics and is relatively lightweight. Due to its durability and environmental friendliness, it is widely used in architectural furniture, artistic creations, sculptures and paintings.
Jesmonite also has a high degree of freedom in controlling indispensable elements of design such as color, texture, and finish. It has attracted the attention of many popular creators. Jesmonite is safe, non-toxic, lightweight, and can be easily used at home. It has successfully replaced concrete, plaster, and polyethylene. Ester and fiberglass are widely used by design and art creators around the world and have become new favorites.
❘ - Can you recommend any other materials or tools I might need? - ❘
*You may need a weighing scale to measure the capacity of the Jesmonite you need to use. This tool is not included in the kit. A small scale for cooking will do.
*It is recommended to use the Jesmonite® High-shear Mixing Blade to mix the Jesmonite liquid and the mineral base. Using the mixing tool helps reduce the formation of bubbles and ensure that the mixture is smooth and free of lumps. When using pigments, the dispersion is uneven. Often resulting in a mottled (blotched) appearance, this tool properly disperses Jesmonite pigments into the mixture.
*You can also extend your working time by adding a small amount of Jesmonite Retarder (for AC100) to the mixture.
*If you plan to make a terrazzo pattern, you need to use sandpaper and fine sandpaper for post-polishing treatment.
