Tenmoku ware has been a coveted object among scholars and literati since ancient times. In the past, due to numerous uncontrollable factors, potters of every era had to exhaust their ingenuity and dedicate their lives to creating a single perfect Tenmoku piece. Today, with advancements in technology, many variables in firing Tenmoku have become controllable. However, Tenmoku remains an extremely challenging and difficult type of ceramic to master. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this piece is designed for practicality.
