Cashmere, meaning "goat down," is derived from goats that predominantly inhabit the Himalayas at altitudes of 15,000 feet. To endure the cold, they grow a layer of soft "down" in late autumn for added warmth. This down is one of the finest animal fibers, not only providing exceptional warmth but also prized as "diamond fiber" for its lightness, luster, and elasticity.
The key differences between Cashmere and regular wool are:
1. Cashmere feels lightweight and doesn't cause any prickling sensation.
2. The irregular curls and fineness of Cashmere create air pockets when made into a scarf, which not only prevent the intrusion of cold air but also trap body heat, offering excellent warmth.
3. Its superior elasticity means it resists wrinkling and quickly regains its beautiful shape after folding.
Suitable for: Spring, Autumn, Winter, air-conditioned rooms, international travel (even to snowy regions).
Please note that there may be slight color differences between photos and the actual product. Hand-dyeing may result in minor imperfections; those sensitive to this should refrain from purchasing!
Care Instructions:
1. The material is delicate. Dry cleaning is recommended. Iron at a low temperature with a pressing cloth; do not bleach or iron at high temperatures.
2. Avoid wearing with other metal jewelry or accessories to prevent snagging.
3. The fine fibers of cashmere can occasionally snag, which is normal for 100% Cashmere. If snagging occurs, do not cut the fibers; gently pull them straight in the direction of the weave by hand.
4. If pilling occurs, gently remove it by hand; do not use a brush.
5. Photos may exhibit color variations. While the handmade weave is fine, it may not be perfectly uniform. The edges of the scarf have a downy texture.
6. Made in Nepal without fixatives; slight color bleeding or fading is normal.
