Developed by Dr. Carmen from the Royal College of Art, this material is derived from pineapple leaf fibers through processes involving waxing and embossing, resulting in a look and feel reminiscent of genuine leather. It emphasizes a cruelty-free, low-carbon alternative to animal leather, revitalizing agricultural byproducts while producing no toxic substances during manufacturing. At the end of its lifecycle, the material is biodegradable, returning to nature and protecting our planet from the impacts of climate change for future generations. Spanish Pinatex pineapple leaf leather meets EU environmental standards and is biodegradable at the end of its product life. 2. The surface of the pineapple leaf leather is water-repellent. 3. Hand-stitched leather goods in Taiwan, using waxed thread for strong and durable seams, unlike machine stitching which can be difficult to repair once unraveled. 4. To clean stains on the leather surface, use a clean, damp cloth. Ensure the leather surface is dry afterward. 7. Pineapple leaf leather can be maintained by applying baby oil. Apply the baby oil to a clean cloth before wiping the leather surface, rather than applying it directly. Important Notes Before Ordering: 1.
