The solder used in crafting these pieces naturally oxidizes when exposed to air, a process that is particularly noticeable with the copper-toned finish. It will evolve from a bright copper to an antique patina, and eventually to a deep brown. Therefore, the final piece will "absolutely" not be identical to the photos. We cannot control the exact way the dye oxidizes. If you are concerned about the natural color variations in copper, please request a black finish, which shows minimal change. The reclaimed old glass, often decades old, may feature minor scratches, color variations, or bubbles due to its history and environment. Tiny imperfections and chips may also occur along the edges during the grinding process, especially with clear and mirrored glass – these are all considered normal. ▴The unique patterns and colors of the glass mean that no two items will be exactly alike. Please communicate thoroughly with the designer before placing your order to ensure your expectations are met. ▴Both dyed and undyed solder will develop a patina or darken over time due to air exposure, with copper tones showing the most significant transformation. ▴Do not use these containers for food. Even 99% pure solder is not food-grade tin. ▴While some unsealed containers can hold water, this will accelerate the solder's oxidation, leading to the formation of white crystals. ▴To promote sustainability, all items are shipped with simple, eco-friendly packaging. ▴For your protection, please record a video of yourself unboxing the glass items. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Care Instructions: ▴The solder surface will naturally form an oxide layer from prolonged air exposure. This can be gently removed with a toothpick. For daily care, simply wipe with a dry cotton cloth. ▴For advanced care, you may apply a thin layer of furniture wax (soft wax) to the surface. Once dry, buff with a dry cotton cloth until it shines.
