When crafting this disc ring, my mentor shared no specific concept, leaving me to discover its meaning upon completion. Seeing the finished piece, I was moved by its symbolism. Yet, like the circular form of the ring, we must find ways to comfort ourselves, to encourage and urge ourselves forward.
