The shape of the kapok in the work is associated with Mayan stone totems, and the golden cymbals set off the beauty of ancient civilization. Etching Etching Use anti-corrosive liquid (Etching Ground) to coat metal plates, and then use a stylus to scrape off the anti-corrosion paint. When corroding, immerse the metal plate in acid. The technique produces very fine lines. By controlling the acid soaking time, a plate making method with different shades of dents is produced on the plate surface. The printing method is to print the concave line image. Before printing, the entire layout must be rolled with ink so that the ink fills the concave line marks, and then the ink on the surface of the printing plate is wiped clean, and the concave lines are cleaned. The printing ink remains in the pattern, and the printing plate and paper are pressurized by the printing machine to transfer the ink from the concave portion of the printing plate to the paper. Gravure is usually made of copperplate, so it is usually called copperplate. Artist Biography: Born in Hong Kong. In 2014, he graduated from the Education University of Hong Kong. Due to his deep interest in printmaking, he completed both the visual arts center art training and refresher classes (printmaking) and a summer internship at the Hong Kong printmaking studio. After graduation, he established Marble Print & Clay with friends. Printmaking studio, has been engaged in printmaking and art education.
