FUSHIMI Akari approach - Lighting - Wood Red

Product Description

Lighting equipment designed with the motif of Senbon Torii of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto. This work attempts to reconstruct the Japanese "tradition" from a new perspective. A quadrilateral frame consisting of three wooden (MDF) bars and one translucent milky white Acrylic bar was used as one unit, and they were rotated little by little and stacked to form a spiral shape. The light leaking from the slit and the light transmitted through Acrylic combine to create a fantastic light scene. The light passing through the red and white materials framed in a spiral shape can be enjoyed in various ways depending on the viewing angle. * This work has been improved and made into a real product based on the application design (winning a special prize) of the "7th Kyoto Hanatouro Creative andon Design Competition" (2015). * We have been selected for the Kyoto Design Award 2021. ※shipping fee is free. [Body size] Width / Depth: 340mm Height: 310mm [Material] MDF (painted) + Acrylic, LED bulb (E26) * Because the standards related to electricity differ from country to country, the following are notes. -The standard of the socket and cord is 125V / 6A, and the power consumption of the LED bulb is about 8W. (LEDs have low power consumption, so I don't think there is a problem in any country's environment.) -The type of light bulb and socket is E26, which seems to be unique to Japan. We will send you a total of 3 bulbs, including a spare replacement. -The power plug shape is A type. Depending on the country, a converter may be required. If you have any requests for electrical standards that differ from country to country, please contact us as we will do our best to accommodate them.
