The "woof woof" of dogs is a common sound in the countryside, and "wāng wāng" sounds phonetically similar to "wàng" (prosperity). Dogs are also associated with bringing wealth and children, symbolizing thriving prosperity. During traditional Lunar New Year celebrations, every household hangs red lanterns to create an atmosphere of joy and reunion.
